Senghenydd (Historical Short Story) Publication

Hey Guys,

I’m on a role! So Senghenydd was my third short story to be published on kindle over the bank holiday. I have to say it was one of the most interesting to write as the history behind the setting was fascinating (although horrific). Senghenydd coal mine in Glamorgan, South Wales was the location of the worst disaster in British coal mining history. Here are the details of my short story:

An emotional short story based on the largest coal mining disaster in Britain. On the 14th of October 1913 there were several explosions throughout the Senghenydd mine in Glamorgan, South Wales.
This short story recounts one woman’s experience of waiting for news of her husband and two sons who were working down the mine at the time of the accident. (Approx. 2,250 words)

I hope you enjoy the read and as always let me know what you think of this one, all feedback helps. Also keep your eyes peeled as there will be another short story going live in the next few days called ‘Scared to Love.’

Bye for now!
