Saturday Struggle

Hey all!

Sorry for the absence,  I have given myself a kick up the bum and a stern talking make sure I settle down to getting stuff done over the next couple of weeks so hopefully you should see me around a lot more over the next few days.

Last weekend I did really well and completed one short story and was half way through a second, unfortunately I’m not sure where my enthusiasm went and after a draining week I’ve arrived at today and just cannot settle to do any writing which is making me even more frustrated. So to get myself back on track I thought I’d update you all here on my plans.

My short story ‘The Strength of a Promise’ is now available on kindle for 77p so when you have time for a short read please take a trundle over there and download it to your Kindle. Here’s the blurb to give you an idea of the story.

A short story about a wartime romance between an RAF pilot and a young WAAF. The turbulence of war threw them together in an unexpected whirlwind romance but it could just as easily separate them forever. Read about the night that holds their entire future in limbo, what will the dawn of the following day bring?

I am still polishing my historical romance novel ‘Dare to Dream Again’ ready for its release on Kindle but I hope to have it published within the next couple of months.

I’m also preparing several short stories for up and coming competitions so all that’s left now is to find where my motivation’s hiding (my bet’s under the bed, that’s where everything hides!) and then get down to some serious work 🙂

Off I go then! If any of you have any tips on rediscovering motivation I’d love to hear them.
